Our History

   

  • Joyist Nations Organization (JNO)  was founded in 2025. by  Dr. YASEVA (an Engineer by profession). and is Headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, (India), with its Global Capability center (  JNO International Civic Entrepreneurship Incubation Hub), and Joyism Secretariat  


  •  In a time of national, regional and global flux, wars, uncertainty and despair, Dr. Yaseva, as a  Farsighted Prescient Professional with a Vatical Vision, dares to dream of a Unique Model on the lines of United Nations, focussing cardinally on Grassroots Empowerment for Peace and Prosperity on the Planet .


  • JNO is more than an Organization —it’s a Movement ! It is a  
    stentorian invocation in juxtaposition with a clarion call to reimagine our neighborhoods, cities and nations with Positive Energy leadership, and transform our lives through the radical lens of joy, dignity, and shared purpose!

  •  At Joyist Nation Organisation, we are dedicated to empowering individuals globally through POSITIVE ENERGY Operating System (PEOS) for People and Planet.   


  • This will involve Social Empowerment , individual motivation and activation and community engagement, based on SOCIOCRACY Principles.    


  • Our goals aim foster peace and prosperity globally, starting at a grassroots level, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to thrive, sustain and prosper, in a holistic and sustainable way ,  for both  individual and social good !

Establishment and Promotion of Joyist Sociocracy Circles

 

  • The Joyist Nations Organization (JNO) envisions a world where human dignity, social harmony, and sustainable well-being are accessible to all, especially those living in conditions of vulnerability. Central to this vision is the establishment of Joyist Sociocracy Circles (JSC)—decentralized, participatory JSC communities built on the principles of Sociocracy, emphasizing good governance, inclusive organization, and consent-based decision-making.
  • These JSCs will serve as autonomous yet interconnected units dedicated to social amelioration, individual empowerment, and community-led transformation.


Sociocratic Foundations of Joyist Circles


Joyist Sociocracy Circles operate on core Sociocratic principles:


a. Equivalence and Shared Power

  • Each member of a JSC holds equal value in the governance process. Decisions affecting the circle are made through consent-based processes, ensuring that no decision proceeds when a member has a reasoned, paramount objection.
  • This model prevents hierarchical dominance and promotes shared accountability.


b. Circle Organization and Double-Linking

  • JCs function as semi-autonomous circles interconnected through double-linking, enabling information flow and coherence between local activities and JNO's wider strategy. This structure prevents isolation, promotes transparency, and ensures that community voices influence higher-level policies.

 

c. Continuous Feedback Loops

  • Sociocracy prioritizes ongoing evaluation, allowing JSCs to refine projects, improve approaches, and remain aligned with community needs through structured periodic review.

Social Purpose and Field of Action

 

Joyist Sociocracy Circles are designed to address some of the most complex and interlocking social challenges. Their activities will support amelioration, emancipation, and development, with a focus on:


  • Homelessness and Housing  
  •  Insecurity
  • Crime Prevention and  Restorative Approaches
  • Violence Reduction and Conflict      Transformation
  • Addiction Recovery and Harm   Reduction
  • Social Discrimination,  Exclusion, and Marginalization
  • Support for populations  affected by apathy, anger, trauma, and belligerence
  • Non-communicable diseases   rooted in lifestyle, stress, or structural inequities
  • JSCs aim to provide practical, compassionate, and restorative interventions, not merely temporary relief.


Promoting Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Social Cohesion

In juxtaposition with addressing social challenges, JSCs are equally committed to promoting social integration, respect for cultural diversity, and DEI values.


Key functions include:

  • Creating safe, welcoming   spaces for marginalized groups
  • Facilitating intercultural  dialogue and conflict de-escalation
  • Promoting inclusive  participation regardless of identity, background, or circumstance
  • Developing solutions that   uplift the dignity and agency of socially vulnerable populations

What Are Joyist Circles (JC)?

A Joyist Circle (JC) is a small, semi-autonomous group of citizens who come together around shared skills, passions, or community needs. Each JC operates through:

  • Shared purpose
  • Distributed roles
  • Collective decision-making
  • Transparent communication
  • Continuous learning and  adaptation

These circles act as micro-ecosystems of social innovation, where members co-create solutions, implement projects, and contribute to the broader Joyist network.


Why Sociocracy?

  • Sociocracy provides a governance model built on inclusiveness, equality, and effectiveness, making it ideal for citizen-led engagement systems.
    JNO adopts Sociocracy because it ensures:

Non-Governmental Leaders (NGLs)

  At JNO, Non-Governmental Leaders (NGLs) are individuals with proven expertise and demonstrated capacity to create high-impact change within their local or regional communities.

Unlike traditional NGO leadership, NGLs are not defined by the size of their organization or formal hierarchy. 


They are selected for:

  • Practical field experience
  • Demonstrated success in  real-world problem solving
  • Ethical commitment to people  and planet
